As an Associate Broker with the distinction of holding her GRI certification, Rhonda Shearouse holds herself to a high standard of professionalism. The Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute certification, an advanced level of education for real estate professionals, allows realtors to be current with emerging trends in technology, procedures for sales and new laws. She is also a Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP), helping facilitate a deeper understanding of the new home construction industry. She knows the value of passing on her knowledge to clients, “Even though they may have built a house before, I like to educate them about our process at Landmark 24 Homes which may be different than what they’ve been through.”

Rhonda started her career in banking, working as a branch manager for 25 years. This understanding of the financial process benefits her real estate job. She enjoys taking what may be a complex concept for her client and explaining it in more customer-friendly terms.

She decided to become a real estate agent in 1991 after she built her own home with Landmark’s owner Steve Hall and his brother. So impressed with the level of craftsmanship, she followed Steve into Landmark when he merged his business with Jerry and Jack Wardlaw, “They are quality builders. Regardless of whether it’s a starter home neighborhood or a gated community, the quality is there and that makes it easy to sell.”

While managing Landmark 24’s the online sales leads, Rhonda was asked to fill in at their South Carolina communities for another agent. From the beginning, she was impressed with Bluffton, “It is just a beautifully laid-out city. I love the walking trails and the way the builders have buffered their neighborhoods with trees. It is convenient to everything – shopping in downtown Savannah or golf and tennis in Hilton Head.” She became licensed in South Carolina in addition to Georgia and now primarily commutes to work from her Savannah home.

In the fall, Rhonda and her husband Bill continue a tradition set in place when he was in college at the University of Georgia. His parents attended every home game, using the opportunity to visit their two sons in Athens while watching the Dogs play football. Now, Rhonda and Bill continue to take the road trip to the games, tailgating and spending time with the nieces and nephews that are at the school. They don’t limit their traveling to just Athens, Georgia. The couple loves to journey to other countries like Greece or Ireland or just plan a quick trip to see a concert whenever they get the opportunity.

Rhonda places a high priority on her relationship with her clients. She is able to help navigate the process of buying a newly-constructed home, staying on top of changes in the industry. A knowledgeable and experienced Realtor®, Rhonda can assist anyone interested in a Landmark 24 home.
